Returns & Refunds

Last updated: [DATE]

Firearms retail has strict return rules. Some are legal requirements; others are common sense. Here’s exactly how returns work at Glock One.

Firearms

Firearms cannot be returned once transferred. Federal law prohibits returning a firearm after it has been transferred to you through your FFL — at that point, it becomes a used firearm regardless of condition, and cannot be resold as new.

Before pickup

Inspect the firearm carefully at your receiving FFL before completing the transfer. If it has a defect, damage, or does not match what you ordered, the FFL can decline the transfer on your behalf. In this case:

  • Contact us within 48 hours.
  • We arrange return shipping at our expense.
  • You receive a full refund or an exchange, your choice.

After pickup

Once you complete the transfer, the firearm is yours. If you later discover a defect covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, contact the manufacturer directly — they handle warranty repairs.

Failed background check

If your NICS background check is denied when you attempt pickup, the FFL cannot release the firearm to you. In this case:

  • Contact us to arrange return shipping.
  • A 15% restocking fee applies (the firearm must be resold as used).
  • We refund the balance to your original payment method within 7 business days of return receipt.

Ammunition, powder, and primers

Hazmat items cannot be returned. DOT regulations prohibit reverse shipment of ammunition, gunpowder, and primers once they leave our facility. All hazmat sales are final.

If you receive a hazmat item that is defective or damaged in transit:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos.
  • We ship a replacement at no charge, or issue a refund if replacement isn’t available.
  • Do not attempt to ship the damaged item back — dispose of it safely or contact us for guidance.

Non-firearm items

Optics, accessories, holsters, cleaning supplies, hearing protection, eye protection, and other non-restricted items may be returned within 30 days of delivery, subject to the following:

  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, with all accessories and paperwork.
  • Buyer pays return shipping unless the item arrived defective or we shipped the wrong item.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 business days of return receipt.
  • A 10% restocking fee may apply if the item was used, opened without cause, or damaged.

How to return a non-firearm item

  1. Contact us within 30 days to initiate the return.
  2. We’ll email you a Return Authorization (RA) number.
  3. Ship the item back with the RA number visible on the package.
  4. Once received and inspected, we process the refund.

Order cancellation

You can cancel an order at no cost as long as it hasn’t shipped. Once we’ve shipped your order, standard return rules apply. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel.

Refund timing

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Once we process the refund, it typically appears in your account:

  • Credit/debit card: 3–7 business days
  • ACH/bank transfer: 5–10 business days

If it’s been longer than that, contact your bank first, then reach out to us.

Exceptions

The following items cannot be returned under any circumstances:

  • Firearms after transfer (federal law)
  • Ammunition, powder, primers (DOT regulations)
  • Used or modified items
  • Gift cards
  • Special-order or custom items

Questions?

Contact us before you order if you’re unsure about a product. We’d rather answer a question upfront than process a return you didn’t need to make.
