Privacy Policy
Glock One respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our site or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have about it. Because we sell firearms, some of what we collect is required by federal and state law — we’ve called those out below.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account information — name, email address, password, phone number, shipping and billing addresses when you create an account or place an order.
- Payment information — handled by our PCI-compliant payment processor. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
- FFL transfer information — the receiving licensed dealer you choose at checkout, and any information they request for the transfer.
- Age verification — you attest to age eligibility at checkout; the receiving FFL verifies age via government ID at pickup.
- Communications — messages you send us via the contact form, email, or phone.
Information we collect automatically
- IP address, browser type, device information, referring URL, pages visited, time spent on site.
- Cookies for shopping cart persistence, account login, and analytics.
- Approximate geographic location (state-level, from IP) — used to determine shipping eligibility.
How we use your information
- Process, ship, and track your orders (including FFL transfers).
- Comply with federal and state firearms regulations, including verifying that products can lawfully ship to your state.
- Send transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping notifications, FFL transfer status).
- Send marketing emails (only if you opt in). You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Respond to your questions and support requests.
- Improve our site and product offerings.
- Prevent fraud and enforce our terms of service.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed:
- Receiving FFL dealer — for firearm orders, we share your name, email, and phone number with the FFL you choose so they can contact you for pickup.
- Payment processor — to charge your payment method.
- Shipping carriers — to ship your order.
- Government agencies — when required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process. This includes any records related to firearm transactions retained under ATF regulations.
- Service providers — hosting, email, analytics vendors, all bound by confidentiality agreements.
ATF-required records
Federal law requires FFL holders to maintain records of firearm sales indefinitely, and to make those records available to the ATF on request. This applies to the receiving FFL, not to Glock One as an online retailer, but we may also retain shipment records related to firearms as part of our own compliance program.
Your rights
Depending on your state, you may have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your account and personal data (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Opt out of marketing communications.
- Opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us.
Data security
We use SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmitted through our site. Payment information is handled by a PCI DSS Level 1 compliant payment processor. Passwords are hashed and salted. Access to customer data is limited to staff with a legitimate business need.
Cookies
We use cookies for site functionality (cart, login), analytics (Google Analytics or equivalent), and — if you opt in — personalization. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some site features may not work without them.
Children’s privacy
Our site is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. All firearm purchases require age verification and are subject to federal and state minimum age requirements.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email to registered account holders and posted here with an updated “last updated” date.
